Eligibility:
Applicants for the Program for Experienced Professionals (PEP) must meet one of these conditions:
- Doctoral-level professional or graduate degree with at least one year of work experience in a health-related field, OR
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree with at least two years of full time work experience in a health-related field.
Items to be provided to The Ohio State University Graduate Admissions Office:
- Online Graduate School Application Form. The program code for the MPH Program for Experienced Professionals is 739.
- Nonrefundable application fee: $40 for domestic applicants (PEP is generally not available to international students because of visa restrictions requiring full-time study).
- One official transcript or record of marks for each university-level school attended. Include English translation of any foreign documents.
- Official GRE scores.

- A personal statement that (1) explains your motivation and interest in graduate study in public health and specifically in the Program for Experienced Professionals, and (2) evaluates your qualifications, including your academic record as well as work and other experiences.
- 1-2 page résumé, which may be e-mailed to cph@osu.edu (please include your last name in the subject line).
- One official transcript or record of marks for each university-level school attended. Include English translation of any foreign documents.
- Three letters of recommendation from academic, professional or work references. It is helpful if at least one letter can comment on your academic ability to undertake a rigorous graduate degree program.
