How can CoCHY help my congregation?

Many congregations already provide terrific programming for youth. Others would like to develop such programs. CoCHY will help congregations understand which aspects of religious involvement are most important in keeping our youth from harm.

By building on this knowledge, CoCHY brings together congregations to develop their own health promotion efforts. We also seek out grants and other other resources to help congregations develop new programs or improve existing ones.

We know each congregation has its own standards for addressing teenage pregnancy and risky behavior. CoCHY will respect these standards in our words and actions.

CoCHY includes representatives from
local congregations, agencies and The Ohio State University.
