The Center for Health Outcomes, Policy and Evaluation Studies (Center for HOPES) at the Ohio State University College of Public Health is pleased to announce that Naomi Adaniya is the recipient of the 2008 doctoral training award for study leading to the PhD degree.

The Center for Health Outcomes, Policy & Evaluation Studies will coordinate the outcome evaluation of a $34 million grant awarded to Ohio State and Nationwide Children’s Hospital by the National Institutes of Health.
The grant is one of the largest ever received by the university and will be used to build The Ohio State University Center for Clinical and Translational Science, a research center that will help streamline the patient care process.

Governor Ted Strickland and former U.S. Senator John Breaux (D-La.), a national leader in health policy, joined 100 top health care leaders and policy makers on January 23, 2007 at The Ohio State University to discuss the future of health care in Ohio. Former U.S. Senator John Glenn also attended and introduced Breaux.
