A thriving research program is an essential component of the College's mission statement and goals. The research in the College of Public Health complements the College's teaching and learning objectives. Our research aims to improve the practice of public health. Beneficial research opportunities abound for students.
The College of Public Health has been a catalyst for collaboration within the OSU Health Sciences Center, universities statewide, state and local health departments in Ohio, federal public health agencies, and professional journals and societies internationally.
Specific and direct collaborations are underway with the Columbus Health Department, the Ohio Department of Health, the University of Cincinnati, the National Cancer Institute, the National Science Foundation, Battelle Memorial Institute, Nationwide Health Plans, and numerous others.
