Joanne serves as Associate Director for the Office of Workforce Development. Joanne is responsible for oversight of strategic, programmatic, and operational direction of OWD’s grant and contractually funded training and organization services. Read Joanne’s vision for the Office. Joanne also facilitates clients in strategic planning, consensus building, and workforce development activities. She is a trained facilitator of the Leadership Practices Inventory®, a 360° feedback survey, and offers instruction in this and other topics relevant to the work of public health practitioners and their partners. Her Bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University is in Community Health Education, and she received her Master’s degree in Workforce Development and Education from The Ohio State University. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist. Joanne has nearly 20 years of experience in local, state and academic public health.
