Conference Accommodations

Important information regarding hotel accommodations!

Due to recent events the Holiday Inn on the Lane is no longer available as an accommodation for the Summer Program.  Below you will find two new hotels that have rooms reserved for your convenience.

Fairfield Inn: 3031 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, OH, (614) 267-1111, www.FairfieldInn.com, located 1 mile from the Longaberger Alumni House, heated indoor pool and spa, exercise room, restaurant, $104.00 per night plus tax. Reference the group code "PH00" when making reservations. All reservations must be made prior to June 22, 2009 in order to receive the group rate.

University Plaza: 3110 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, OH, (614) 267-7461/ (877) 677-5292,
www.universityplazaosu.com, located 1 mile from the Longaberger Alumni House. Shuttles to and from the university and the airport and outdoor pool, $99.00 per night plus tax. Reference "Public Health Summer Program". All reservations must be made prior to June 21, 2009 in order to receive the group rate.
The University Plaza will have a shuttle to and from the conference facility at 7:30am and 5:30pm. An afternoon shuttle might be available upon request.

Campus Housing (dormitory style rooms): Air conditioned and full linen service (includes bed linens and towels); Single Rate: $52; Double Rate $26 per person; Multiple Rate $21 per person. Anyone interested in these accommodations MUST indicate so when registering on http://oh.train.org as space is limited and reservations are taken on a first come/first serve basis. There are Ethernet ports in each room and these remain active during the summer. However, due to a varying maintenance schedule, internet connections are not guaranteed during your stay. The connections in your rooms, should they be active, are available for use by summer conference guests at no charge.

Guests may park in "C" lots. You will need to purchase a parking permit for $5 /day.
